It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Saudi Physical Therapy Conference 1431/2010, with the theme, 'Physical Therapy: Research and Applications'. The Department of Physical Therapy at University of Dammam is honoured to organize and host such an event, trusting that such an important convention would contribute towards enhancing the physical therapy profession in Saudi Arabia.

The aims of the conference are to bring together physical therapists, academics and researchers to share research findings and knowledge, and to provide practical skills that contribute towards development in clinical and research settings in the country.

The conference provides a unique forum through which physical therapists from Saudi Arabia and overseas will have the opportunity to meet, interact and exchange ideas and knowledge in the field of physical therapy.
A conference of this scale would not be possible without the contribution and support of many colleagues and sponsors. We would also like to show our gratitude to the members of the organizing committees for their considerable contributions.
