The Duchess Kate pregnancy bets were inspired by a story from one of Middleton’s former friends, a woman named Jessica Hay, who claimed that Middleton was pregnant again. According to Huffington Post, Jessica Hay told New Day [an Australian magazine]: “Kates inner circle are buzzing with the news that she is pregnant.” Hay has an impressive track record. In fact, there could even be double celebrations in the Windsor household next Tuesday, said Corals Nicola McGeady.

Coral bills itself as “the UK’s No 1 trusted online betting website.” Until the Duchess Kate pregnancy bets were suspended by the website, Coral was offering 10-1 odds that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had some very exciting news to share with their adoring public, specifically that Kate Middleton is pregnant.
Bookmaker Coral has suspended betting on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announcing theyre expecting baby No.2 following a string of bets overnight.. She reportedly predicted Middleton’s wedding and her first pregnancy before the events were officially confirmed.
Before the firm closed the betting, Coral were offering odds of 10-1 that the royal couple would announce theyre expecting this month, but those odds were slashed into even money before they pulled the plug.
Coral made the announcement that they were no longer accepting Duchess Kate pregnancy bets via a Twitter message: “We’ve suspended betting on Kate & Wills announcing they are expecting another Royal Baby!” The message offered a link to the following press release on the Coral official website:
